Week 9 Winners & Losers

Every Sunday night we bring to you the winners and losers from the day in football.

Marcus Mariota – Tennessee Titans – 31.9 points

Another great week for Marcus Mariota.  He now has five straight weeks of 20 plus points, three of those being above 30 points, and seven of nine weeks this season are now above 20.  You can’t deny anymore that Mariota is playing as a QB1 and probably should be treated as such.

Melvin Gordon – San Diego Chargers – 32.1 points

The terrific season for Melvin Gordon continues with 32 carries for 196 yards and a touchdown.  He also added 4 catches for 65 yards.  He is getting it done week after week and is one of the league’s top fantasy performers.

Mark Ingram – New Orleans Saints – 29.1 points

After Tim Hightower received the first seven or so carries for the Saints today, it was beginning to look like Ingram’s time as the starter was done.  But as soon as he got his first opportunity he made the most of it with a 75 yard touchdown run.  He ended the day with 15 carries for 158 yards and a touchdown and added 2 catches for 13 yards and a touchdown as well.

Dez Bryant – Dallas Cowboys – 1.9 points

Dez came back from his injury last week and looked to be back right away.  All Dez owners couldn’t wait for this great matchup with Cleveland and despite Dak Prescott having a career day, Dez only could mange 1 catch for 19 yards.

Terrance West – Baltimore Ravens – 2.7 points

West’s short lived time as an every week fantasy starter may be coming to an end.  He put up another terrible game, this time 15 carries for 21 yards.

Jerick McKinnon – Minnesota Vikings – 0.8 points

Quite a few people plugged McKinnon into their lineups this week as he came back from injury and faced a poor Lions defense.  But after 7 carries for 8 yards, many will be looking to drop him.
